The present invention relates to a composition for improving a hair or scalp condition, wherein the composition contains (2S)-1-O-7(Z),10(Z),13(Z)-hexadecatrienoyl-3-O-β-D-galactopyranosyl-sn-glycerol. More specifically, the present invention relates to a skin external application composition or a pharmaceutical composition having an excellent scalp purifying and soothing effect. By containing the component, the growth of hair is promoted, and a loss of hair may be prevented and alleviated. Stimulation to the scalp is alleviated, and dandruff and scamp inflammation are controlled, so an overall hair condition is improved. According to the present invention, the proliferation of cells of the scalp is activated, so the hair root is reinforced. Thus, effects in reducing a loss of hair and promoting the growth of hair are exhibited. At the same time, scalp itchiness and dandruff may be effectively prevented. |
