PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular lighting system capable of efficiently light-emitting a light guide body and uniformly emitting the light.

SOLUTION: The vehicular lighting system 10 is provided with the lengthy light guide body 12; and the light emission body 16 arranged so as to be opposed to at least one end 14a of both ends 14a, 14b of the light guide body 12. The vehicular lighting system 10 is characterized in that permeation light diffusing treatment capable of diffusing the light while the light introduced to the inside of the light guide body 12 is permeated toward the outside is applied onto a surface of the light guide body 12. The permeation light diffusing treatment is preferably treatment for applying dot printing onto the surface of the light guide body 12. Further, the permeation light diffusing treatment is preferably applied thinly or roughly as it is close to the light emission body 16, and is preferably applied deeply or densely as it is far from the light emission body 16.
