摘要 The present invention relates to a vehicle immobilizing method, including: (a) a step in which a hardware security module (HSM) generates a first communications message including a first random number according to first communications message transmission request of an ECU and then transmits the first communications message to the ECU; (b) a step in which the ECU transmits the first communications message including the first random number to an immobilizer module; (c) a step in which the immobilizer module generates a second random number encoded by encoding the first random number included in the transmitted first communications module, and requests a transponder to transmit a second communications message; (d) a step in which the transponder generates the second communications message including a first TP IDE according to the second communications message transmission request, and transmits the second communications message to the immobilizer module; and (e) a step in which the immobilizer module generates a third communications message including the encoded second random number and the first TP IDE and then transmits the third communications message to the ECU. According to the present invention, since an additional HSM performs a security related function which used to be performed by a prior ECU in the vehicle immobilizing method, the vehicle immobilizing method of the present invention can perform a natural engine control function of the ECU more rapidly and efficiently, and has the effect of solving a security problem due to access to the ECU by an amateur.
