PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable volume control in accordance with an operating mode. SOLUTION: Volume control is performed in accordance with working information of an air conditioner body. For a reference of the volume control, the preceding volume that is controlled while the air conditioner body is set in an operation stopped state, is defined as a reference. A specified amount to be automatically controlled differs in accordance with the operating mode. If there are provided operating modes such as a ventilation operating mode, heating operating mode, cool wind operating mode and the like, since it is estimated that operating noise leaked inside a bathroom may become lowest in the ventilation operating mode and may become highest in the cool wind operating mode, the volume is appropriately controlled in accordance with the level of the operating noise. When any operating mode is set, the operating mode is switched or the operating mode is stopped, the volume is up or down appropriately in accordance with setting, selection and stop of the operating mode. Even in a bathroom acoustic system where volume can not be controlled from the inside of the bathroom, a user can enjoy music or the like at an optimal volume level at all the time while taking a bath.
