PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively perform data transfer between a plurality of devices without taking a trouble even in the cace where direct transfer of data is difficult. SOLUTION: A portable terminal transmits data to a device management server using a wireless LAN communication system (23) when it can communicate with a radio LAN access point (22) in order to transmit the data to the device management server. When the data transfer is completed, the entry is deleted from a data transfer management table. When the radio LAN communication system can not be used, a term of the data transfer management table is referred to and a transmission expiration date of data for transfer is confirmed(24). When the term of data transfer passes, the data is transmitted to the device management server using a portable communication system (25).
