PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably output a plurality of lights with a high density without increasing a cost. SOLUTION: A package is sealed on the optical paths of a plurality of lights emitted from a surface-emission laser array element 23 while a cover glass 21 reflecting a part of an incident light and making the remainder transmit is arranged. A space between the light from a fifth light-emitting section row L5 and the light from a sixth light-emitting section row L6 is reduced and both lights are made to transmit in the Y-axis direction with respect to the light from the fifth light-emitting section row L5 and the light from the sixth light-emitting section row L6 while the light from the fifth light-emitting section row L5 and the light from the sixth light-emitting section row L6 are reflected in the direction different from the return direction to a light-emitting section. Accordingly, the deterioration of the light-emitting characteristics of the light-emitting section by heat generation can be suppressed without lowering a writing-dot density.
