PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and thickness of a lens barrel by effectively using space in the lens barrel. SOLUTION: The lens barrel (3) is equipped with: photographic optical systems (L1 and L2); a blur correcting frame (31); a movable section (30) which holds the lens L2 forming at least a part of the photographic optical systems (L1 and L2) and is relatively moved with respect to the blur correcting frame (31); and two pairs of actuators (V1 and V2) which relatively move the blur correcting frame (31) and the movable section (30) and position detecting means (S1 and S2) which are arranged opposite to the actuators (V1 and V2) across the lens (L2) and detect relative movement. An opening (45) through which a wiring member (46) passes is provided in an area (Z) held between a half line extending from the optical axis (C) of the photographic optical systems (L1 and L2) to the actuators (V1 and V2) and a half line extending from the optical axis (C) to the position detecting means (S1 and S2), in the blur correcting frame 31.
