PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently reduce transmission of vibration from a floor material to a partition wall at the occurrence of floor impact sound while improving workability of a double floor structure by a floor preceding method and simplifying the structure of a partition wall support member for use in this construction. SOLUTION: The floor material 30 for a double floor is installed at spaces of predetermined height from a floor face 54 of a building skeleton 52. After the installation of the floor material 30, the partition wall support member 2 comprising a long-sized base material 4, a support leg 10 projected downward from the lower face of the base material 4, and a vibration control member 18 formed of a soft material and mounted to the lower face of the base material 4 to avoid interference with the support leg 10, is placed on the upper face of the floor material 30 to interpose the vibration control member 18 between the base material 4 and the floor material 30. After placing the partition wall support member 2, a partition wall 35 is erected on the upper face of the floor material 30 along the base material 4 of the partition wall support member 2.
