PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally shrinkable polyester-based film which is used for labels and extremely little form wrinkles, shrinkage unevenness and strains due to shrinkage. SOLUTION: This thermally shrinkable polyester-based film is obtained by charging and melting a polyester resin component A comprising butylene terephthalate units and other ester units and a polyester resin component B consisting mainly of ethylene terephthalate units and neopentyl terephthalate units and having a polyester composition different from that of the polyester resin component A in separate extruders A1 and B1, respectively, charging the resin component A and the resin component B in a static mixer in the melted state, extruding the mixture from a T-die, cooling the extruded sheet, and then stretching the formed un-stretched sheet at least monoaxially.
