PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stain remover which gives excellent oil repellency, stainproofness, and stain removability while maintaining washing durability. SOLUTION: A fluorine-containing copolymer has (A) a repeating unit derived from a fluorine-containing macromonomer represented by formula (I): CH<SB>2</SB>=C(-X)-COO-(Y)<SB>l</SB>-Z-M<SP>f</SP><SB>m</SB>M<SP>r</SP><SB>n</SB>-H [wherein X is hydrogen or a methyl group; Y is -CH<SB>2</SB>CH(OH)CH<SB>2</SB>or -R<SP>1</SP>-NHCO-; Z is -L<SB>1</SB>-L<SB>2</SB>-S- (wherein L<SB>1</SB>is a direct bond, -O-, -COO- or -NH-; L<SB>2</SB>is an alkylene group or an aryl group; and S is sulfur); M<SP>f</SP><SB>m</SB>M<SP>r</SP><SB>n</SB>is a fluorochemical oligomer comprising m of units derived from a fluorine-containing monomer (M<SP>f</SP>) and n of units derived from a fluorine-free monomer (M<SP>r</SP>)] and (B) a repeating unit derived from a polyalkylene glycol (meth)acrylate as essential components.
