摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rare earth metal alloy powder for a coated electrode for arc welding and a low-hydrogen type coated electrode in which superior welding workability and excellent low-temperature toughness of weld metal can be obtained while productivity of the coated electrode is satisfied. SOLUTION: The rare earth metal alloy powder is added to a coating agent in manufacturing coated electrodes for arc welding, and is characterized in that it contains 10-45 mass% of one or more kinds of rare earth metal, 25-65 mass% Si, as well as Fe and other inevitable impurities and that the average grain size is 50-200μm.
