PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that whether it is possible to make a memorial of the deceased which is never burnt even in fire, a plurality of persons of bereaved family can hold a memorial service similar to visiting a grave handily and to which the family join the hands in prayer without feeling any sense of incongruity under normal social conventions. SOLUTION: An object to be prayed the deceased and holding a memorial service at home is primarily a black-painted memorial tablet. What is not burnt with fire is pottery. The memorial tablet is divided into an upper posthumous Buddhist name plate and a pedestal part, and whether or not the pedestal part has enough space for laying the ashes of the deceased is searched. Consequently, the memorial tablet is divided into the upper part and the pedestal part in a clay modeling, a space for laying the ashes of the deceased is formed in the pedestal part, after unglazedly burning it, the ashes are rested therein, the tablet is burnt after the integration to be formed into a ceramic memorial tablet, or the organic memorial of the deceased.
