PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively preventing a coating film from peeling or discoloring at the tips of chopsticks and provide lacquered chopsticks applied with prevention means of peeling or discoloration of the coating film in chopsticks formed with paint coating films on the surfaces of chopstick materials or chopsticks formed of a natural wood (chopstick material) alone. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the lacquered chopsticks 10 includes a preparation step of preparing the chopsticks 16 formed with the paint coating films 14 on the surfaces of the chopstick materials 12, a paint coat formation step for dipping the tip parts 18 of the chopsticks 16 in a resin paint 20, then pulling them up and forming paint coats 24 at the tips 22 of the chopsticks 16, and a drying step of drying and hardening the paint coats 24. Alternatively, this manufacturing method of the lacquered chopsticks includes the preparation step of preparing the chopstick materials, the paint coat formation step of dipping the tips of the chopstick materials in the resin paint, pulling them up and forming the paint coats at the tips of the chopstick materials, and the drying step of drying and hardening the paint coats.
