A crushing roller mill homogenises a viscous mass (M) solid particles. The mill has three parallel rollers (R1, R2, R3) each separated from the others by narrow gaps (4, 5), one of which (4) is the dosing gap into which the viscous mass is released. The dosing gap (4) has two sliding wedges (6, 7) on the contact line die and forming a gap closure between adjacent cylinder mantles (Z1, Z2) in the gap (4) and covering the gap gusset zone.
