CONNECTING STRUCTURE AND CONNECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure capable of readily connecting an electronic component to an electrical cable.

SOLUTION: An LED module 1 comprises: a connection terminal 20 electrically connecting an LED chip 30 to a flat cable 100; an upper case 10 attaching the connection terminal 20 and the LED chip 30; and a lower case 50, that is arranged at the rear side of the flat cable 100, is fitted into the upper case 10, and sandwiches the flat cable 100 from the front and rear for mounting. A connection method includes: an attachment process for attaching the LED chip 30 and the connection terminal 20 to the upper case 10 in the LED module 1; an arrangement process for arranging the lower case 50 on the rear side of the flat cable 100; and a fitting process for connecting the connection terminal 20 to the flat cable 100 and fitting the upper case 10 to the lower one 50.
