<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system that, if image data is set in a particular folder, can print in expanded or reduced size according to a method of processing the image data associated with the folder, and that can lay out and print a plurality of image data. <P>SOLUTION: The printing system has a monitoring means for monitoring if image data is set in a particular folder. The system also has a definition means for defining a plurality of processing methods for the image data set in the particular folder and a storage means for storing the methods of processing the image data as attributes associated with the particular folder.
