<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint capable of being connected to a connection pipe simply inserted thereinto with a single operation in a sealed and anti-come-off fashion while eliminating work for marking an insertion allowance on the connection pipe and allowing easy visual check of the inserted condition of the connection pipe, and superior in constructing efficiency and reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A joint body 2 having a socket portion 12 and a check hole 18 stores a nonslip member 3 for engaging with the outer peripheral face of the connection pipe 11, an elastic member 4 for thrusting and energizing the nonslip member 3 toward the inner periphery of the socket portion 12, an indicative and movable spacer 6 arranged at the inside position of the check hole 18, a spacer positioning member 7 for positioning and holding the indicative and movable spacer 6 at the inside position of the check hole 18, and a seal ring 5 having close contact with the outer peripheral face of the connection pipe 11, in sequence from the socket portion 12 toward the inside corner of the joint body. The spacer positioning member 7 is pushed into the inside corner of the joint body 2 with the insertion of the connection pipe 11. The indicative and movable spacer 6 is moved from the inside position of the check hole 18 back to the inside corner of the joint body with the push-in operation so that it cannot be viewed from the check hole 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
