<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system capable of transmitting a plurality of camera outputs with little wiring. <P>SOLUTION: In the camera system having a plurality of cameras 10, 20 and 30, images imaged by the plurality of cameras 10, 20 and 30 are synchronized and outputted to a wire harness 80, and the images outputted from the cameras 10, 20 and 30 are synthesized on the wire harness 80. Accordingly, one wire harness 80 can transmit a synthetic image obtained by synthesizing the plurality of images to a monitor 90 side and can transmit image data with little wiring. Further, a preamble is attached to the head of an image signal during outputing of each camera so that synchronization can be established at the same time when the cameras are switched.
