PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink which is used for a device of which the temperature of an important component is required to be kept constant using a Peltier element, and can obtain desired effect with less power. SOLUTION: In the heat sink, a plurality of heat radiation fins of protruding ridge are arranged parallel to each other on the surface of the case of a device in which the temperature of an important component is stabilized using a Peltier element, and the cooling air from a forced cooling fan flows down the channels among the heat radiation fins. A moving member which closes the channels at an ambient temperature lower than a specified value is provided on the upper stream of the heat radiation fin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
