PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering control device for a vehicle capable of preventing erroneous fastening of a clutch caused by an increase of relative angular acceleration of a steering angle and a steered angle. SOLUTION: When a reaction force controller 10 performs a steer-by-wire control, the reaction force controller 10 controls a steering motor 6 so that the relative angular acceleration of the steering angle of a steering wheel 1 and the steered angle of a turning wheel 9 may be reduced when steering reaction force becomes a large state.
