PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle window device capable of changing the transmittance of the visible light passing through a window part and increasing the transmittance of the visible light passing through the window part in an emergency of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The vehicle window device 20 capable of changing the transmittance of the visible light passing through a window part by applying the predetermined voltage comprises an emergency state determination means 38 for determining the emergency state of the vehicle, and a window transparency control unit (a control part) 36 capable of increasing the transmittance of a window part 13 when the emergency state determination means 38 determines the emergency state of the vehicle 10.
