PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a printing image quality by making a shift of a printing image inconspicuous when a printing medium transfers from an upstream first conveyance part to a downstream second conveyance part. SOLUTION: A conveyance state of the printing medium 1 by the upstream first conveyance part 4 is detected by a first encoder sensor 24. At the same time, a conveyance state of the printing medium 1 by the downstream second conveyance part 5 is detected by a second encoder sensor 25. A first drive signal COM1 to a nozzle actuator is generated in response to an output signal of the first encoder sensor 24, and a second drive signal COM2 to the nozzle actuator is generated in response to an output signal of the second encoder sensor 25. When the printing medium 1 transfers from the first conveyance part 4 to the second conveyance part 5, the first drive signal COM1 and the second drive signal COM2 are mixed to a plurality of nozzles in nozzle arrays set at inkjet heads 2 and 3.
