PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a malfunction of an apparatus operating by electric power from a battery device when starting an engine by the electric power from the battery device. SOLUTION: When a predetermined automatic starting condition is established, when motoring the engine from a starter motor by electric power of a battery, malfunction restraining processing is started for restraining the malfunction likely to be caused in an auxiliary machine and respective ECUs connected to the battery. The starter motor is driven by waiting for the lapse of a delay time Td as time required up to starting its processing (S100 to S120), and the engine is started by motoring (S130, and S140).
