PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet member adhesion device, in which sheet members can be adhered to each other without letting bubbles penetrate between the sheet members. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a transfer part 2 to transfer a first sheet member comprising a transparent sheet S1 on which toner images are recorded, and a delivery part 3 to separate a second sheet member comprising a non-transparent sheet S2 with an adhesive layer, for example, by a separation plate 34 to be delivered diagonally to the transfer direction for the first sheet member in such a way that it can be adhered to the first sheet member that is being transferred by the transfer part 2. Upon adhesion, the separation plate is actuated to vary the carrying direction for the sheet member to properly enlarge their adhesion angle, thereby the first sheet member and the second sheet member are adhered to each other.
