PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a bicycle capable of controlling an assist motor according to a travel state of the bicycle.SOLUTION: A control device for a bicycle includes a control section for controlling an output of an assist motor according to human power driving force. The control section is capable of selectively setting a first control state and a second control state which have mutually different output states of the assist motor with respect to the human power driving force. The control section controls the output of the assist motor so that a response speed of the assist motor to a change in the human power driving force in the first control state becomes faster than that of the assist motor to a change in the human power driving force in the second control state at least either when a crank of the bicycle is rotated from a stopped state or when rotary speed of the crank is a prescribed first speed or below.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
