PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial sewing machine needle attachment/detachment tool which enables an industrial sewing machine needle to be attached to a sewing machine body with the needle direction angle of the industrial sewing machine needle easily determined.SOLUTION: An attachment/detachment tool in an industrial sewing machine includes: a handle formed of a long and narrow rectangular body; and a left holding part and a right holding part which are formed by bifurcation at one end of the handle. According to the configuration of the left holding part and the right holding part, a needle is attached in such a way that the recessed part of the needle is held between the left and right holding parts to be thereby brought into close contact with the holding parts, so that the rotation of a needle shaft is restricted, and a needle direction angle is determined.
