PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baffle unit for a mold, capable of facilitating a fitting work to a cooling hole, and suppressing reduction of cooling efficiency.SOLUTION: A baffle unit 30 for a mold comprises: a baffle plate 31 which is formed into a long plate-shape, and inserted into a cooling hole; and a columnar stop cock 32 for occluding an opening of the cooling hole. On an outer peripheral face of the stop cock 32, an annular groove part 35 is formed, and to the groove part 35, an annular O-ring 36 for sealing a space between the outer peripheral face of the stop cock 32 and an inner peripheral face of the opening, is fitted. A tip end side closer to the baffle plate 31 relative to the groove part 35, on the stop cock 32, serves as a connection part 32a to which a base end part 31a of the baffle plate 31 is connected. The connection part 32a is configured so that, its outer diameter is larger than width of the baffle plate 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
