The flap valve has a gas inlet (2), a first gas outlet (3a) and a second gas outlet (3b) which are formed in a housing (1). In said flap valve, a valve flap (5) is arranged between the gas inlet (2) and the first gas outlet (3a) and the second gas outlet (3b) on a shaft (4) which is mounted rotatably perpendicularly with respect to the flow direction of the gas, which valve flap (5) has a first flap vane (5a) and a second flap vane (5b) which are positioned at right angles with respect to one another and close in each case the first gas outlet (3a) or the second gas outlet (3b) depending on the operating state. Furthermore, the subject matter of the invention is the use of the flap valve as a bypass valve for exhaust-gas recovery in motor vehicles. |
