The method involves storing a predetermined number of passenger compartment scenarios in a control system of a motor vehicle. The scenarios are accessed on a part of a passenger and implemented by the control system, where the scenarios are a combination of light, sound/music, aromatizing, seat comfort and/or air conditioning. The scenarios are stored as pre-configuration in the vehicle, where each pre-configuration is changed and/or added on part of the passenger for a desired configuration. An independent claim is also included for a device for individualizing a vehicle passenger compartment of a motor vehicle.
