PERSONAL LUBRICANT COMPOSITIONS THAT ARE FREE OF GLYCERIN AND PARABENS

A stable personal lubricant composition comprising xylitol and excluding glycerin and parabens is provided. In one embodiment, the composition comprises from about 1% to about 15% by weight xylitol; from about 10% to about 35% by weight butylene glycol; from about 5% to about 20% by weight propylene glycol; from about 0.1 % to about 1.0% by weight polyquaternium; and from about 50% to about 70% by weight water. Also provided are methods of making and using personal lubricant compositions comprising xylitol. Packaged kits of the personal lubricant compositions and articles of manufacture including the personal lubricant compositions comprising xylitol also are provided.
