The curtain-coating device for applying a coating slip to a paper-/cardboard web, comprises an application bar (1), at which a supply chamber (12) extends itself in a longitudinal direction of the curtain-coating device, a nozzle gap (30) present in flow-connection to the supply chamber, and a supply opening of supply blocks (40, 50) for the coating slip arriving into the supply chamber and/or supply holes formed between the supply chamber and the nozzle gap. The coating slip is guided to the supply chamber by supply elements and is guided into the nozzle gap from the supply chamber. The curtain-coating device for applying a coating slip to a paper-/cardboard web, comprises an application bar (1), at which a supply chamber (12) extends itself in a longitudinal direction of the curtain-coating device, a nozzle gap (30) present in flow-connection to the supply chamber, and a supply opening of supply blocks (40, 50) for the coating slip arriving into the supply chamber and/or supply holes formed between the supply chamber and the nozzle gap. The coating slip is guided to the supply chamber by supply elements and is guided into the nozzle gap from the supply chamber and from an exit opening (31) of the nozzle gap. The supply opening and the supply holes are formed in a separately existing replaceable part, in which a flow opening is provided in arbitrary form and/or size for controlling the cross section profile of the coating slip. The supply opening opens itself to the supply chamber, so that it extends itself to the supply chamber. A plate is intended for partially covering the supply opening and acts as limiting element for the flow of the coating slip discharging from the supply opening. The application bar is provided with bores in connection with the supply chamber. The replaceable part is positioned in the bores. The supply hole is formed in arbitrary form and size and forms the flow opening lying between the supply chamber and the nozzle gap.
