<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make effective use of a pressure sensor without discarding the pressure sensor together with a fuel cartridge package when discarding the fuel cartridge package after use. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell of the invention comprises: a fuel cartridge package 1 storing fuel used for electric power generation; a power generation section 2 connected to the fuel cartridge package 1, which generates power using the fuel supplied from the fuel cartridge package 1; a pressure sensor 3 measuring pressure inside the fuel cartridge package 1; and a first connection section 4 making removable connection between the fuel cartridge package 1 and the power generation section 2.
