<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable whose ends can be simultaneously worked and soldering ground bars. <P>SOLUTION: The flat cable 15 is equipped with a pair of conductive ground bars 10 and 11 which sandwich coaxial cables 2 and discrete cables 7 from both upper and lower sides in a preset area near the cable ends. This flat cable 15 is characterized in that this pair of conductive ground bars 10 and 11 sandwiches shield layers 5 exposed in a preset area by removing the outer insulation coating 6, and are solder-connected and that a clearance 75 whose thickness is equivalent to the difference between the outside diameter of the shield layer of the coaxial cable 2 and the outside diameter of the discrete cable is placed between the ground bar and the discrete cables 7. Since this clearance 75 shuts out heat from a heater means 73 and prevents the heat from transferring to the insulation coating 9 of the discrete cables 7 through the ground bar 11, the ground bars can be soldered without melting the insulation coating 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
