<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a diversity receiver capable of normally performing synthetic diversity reception by uniformizing timing of respective received signals even when there is timing deviation of one or more symbols between received signals in a plurality of branches. <P>SOLUTION: A timing adjusting circuit performs timing adjustment of soft-decision data 103 and 104 subjected to delay detection by a demodulating part 1 and a demodulating part 2. A delay circuit 4 delays soft-decision data by the predetermined number of symbols to generate delayed soft-decision data 109, and a delay circuit 5 generates delayed soft-decision data 110 obtained by delaying soft-decision data 108 by a plurality of delay amounts including a delay amount of the predetermined number of symbols. A correlation value between the delayed soft-decision data 109 and the delayed soft-decision data 110 is calculated, and the delayed soft-decision data 110 giving the maximum correlation value is selected and synthesized with the delayed soft-decision data 109 by a synthesis circuit 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
