PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on a cage while securing smooth rotation even in a high operating angle and a high torque load. SOLUTION: This fixed type constant velocity universal joint comprises an outer ring having one end opened and a plurality of track grooves formed in the inner spherical face along the axial direction in the circumferential direction, inner rings 15, 25 having a plurality of track grooves 14, 24 formed in outer spherical faces 13, 23 in pair with the track groove of the outer ring along the axial direction in the circumferential direction and a plurality of outer spherical face portions 19, 29 arranged in the circumferential directions, a plurality of balls laid between the track groove of the outer ring and each of the track grooves 14, 24 of the inner rings 15, 25 for transmitting torque, and the cage laid between the inner spherical face of the outer ring and each of the outer spherical faces 13, 23 of the inner rings 15, 25 for holding the balls. Spherical face anglesα<SB>10</SB>,α<SB>20</SB>located on the joint opening sides of the outer spherical faces 13, 23 of the inner rings 15, 25 are made each 12.5°or larger.
