PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traverse truck for a jacking pipe in a start shaft facilitating fine position adjustment of the jacking pipe to easily align and join a succeeding jacking pipe to the rear end of a preceding jacking pipe in installing the jacking pipe horizontally moved from a horizontal pulling part to a start part, on a planned line. SOLUTION: The traverse truck 14b constitutes a traverser device 14 together with a guide track 14a laid from the start part 51 to the horizontal pulling part 52, by moving along the guide track 14a, intersecting in a direction perpendicular to a jacking direction X of the jacking pipe 11. Position adjusting mechanisms 30 comprising a pair of expansion jacks 31 with the tips 31a abutting on the outer peripheral surface of the jacking pipe 11 are arranged on both sides of a centerline C of a placing frame part 21 so that the pair of expansion jacks 31 are arranged to expand/contract in an oblique direction inclining on the centerline C side.
