PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the degree of freedom on the monitoring side which receives a notice easily at a low cost relating to the technique of measuring the saturation (SpO2) of oxygen sent to the peripheral tissue of a fingertip or the like for every heartbeat from the color of blood and remotely performing monitoring. SOLUTION: A pulse oximeter 10 receives an instruction from a processor 20 and performs measurement. The processor 20 judges that some kind of abnormality has occurred when the value of the oxygen saturation (SpO2) is equal to or less than a threshold by a measured result, and instructs reporting to communication equipment 30.
