PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer light-emitting element capable of having a sufficiently long brightness half life. SOLUTION: In this polymer light-emitting element having a light-emitting layer between its anode and cathode and a positive hole-transporting layer between the light-emitting layer and the anode, the positive hole-transporting layer contains a polymer compound containing a recurring unit shown by the following compound (I), a recurring unit shown by the following general formula (II) and a recurring unit shown by the following general formula (III). [Compound (I)]: a compound having a fluorene backbone. [General formula (II)]: -Ar1- (II) [wherein, Ar1is a divalent aromatic amine].
