ARTICLE HAVING WATER-REPELLENT AND OIL-REPELLENT SURFACE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article having a super water-repellent and oil-repellent surface with super water repellence and oil repellence equal to or better than those of the conventionally known super water-repellent and oil-repellent surface, a smaller sliding angle for oil than that of the conventional surface and better durability to heat and organic solvents than that of the conventionally known super water-repellent and oil-repellent surface and to provide a method for producing the article. SOLUTION: The article has a layer having water repellency and oil repellency on the surface of a substrate. The layer having the water repellency and oil repellency is a layer composed of a polymer having fluorine-containing hydrophobic groups and having a fine uneven structure. The method for producing the article having the water repellency and oil repellency on the surface of the substrate is provided. The method comprises forming the layer composed of the polymer having the fluorine-containing hydrophobic groups and having water repellency and oil repellency and the fine uneven structure on the surface of the substrate.
