<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sugarcoating food or medical process materials which reduces the time required between precoating and sugarcoating, and prevents cracking, peeling or discoloring on the obtained product surfaces. <P>SOLUTION: This production method applies to food or medical molded materials such as gummi candies, soft-chewy candies, soft jellies, or marshmallows, in which they are first coated with a precoating agent containing arabic gum and sugar, such as cane sugar, maltitol, mannitol and xylitol, and then coated with sugar. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
