<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new feed additive showing excellent propagation suppressing effect and at the same time, promoting growth of animals. <P>SOLUTION: This feed additive contains JA-ZK strain (trustee number: FERM AP-21100) belonging to Bacillus subtilis. The strain shows excellent propagation suppressing effect for harmful bacteria such as Salmonella and colon bacillus. It is possible to decrease the number of pathogenic bacteria existing in a rearing animal and improve the weight and feed demand ratio of the rearing animal by mixing the strain with feed and feeding the rearing animal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
