PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the driving force of a vehicle by accurately determining the position of the vehicle or a positional relationship between the vehicle and a connected road connected to the main traffic of an expressway. SOLUTION: A vehicular driving force control apparatus for controlling the driving force of a vehicle in accordance with a positional relationship between the vehicle and a connected road connected as a branch to the main traffic of an expressway comprises means (S3) for detecting or inferring a driver's intention to change lanes between the main traffic of the expressway and the connected road and means (S4) for detecting a lane change of the vehicle between the main traffic of the expressway and the connected road; and permits the driving force control of the vehicle (S5) if detecting a lane change of the vehicle under the detection or inference of a lane change intention or within a preset time of the detection or inference of the lane change intention.
