<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching hub flexibly adaptable to the setting of a frame relay even when a plurality of VLANs is prepared without complicating the configuration of a network apparatus and a LAN system using the switching hub. <P>SOLUTION: The switching hub 1 has a port section 3 composed of a plurality of ports 3A to 3N prepared for connecting a communication cable such as a LAN cable at the side face of a main body 2, a port processing section 4 with a receiving-port processing section 4A and a transmitting-port processing section 4B and a filter processing section 5 with a receiving-filter processing section 5A and a receiving-filter processing section 5B. The switching hub 1 further has a switching processing section 6 determining the VLAN relaying the frame, an FDB7 registering an address of the recipient of the frame and a control section 8 setting a VLAN-ID corresponding to a plurality of the ports 3A to 3N for the port section 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
