<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, the so-called "virtual microscope system", for imaging an observation body, in advance, and reconstructing the image of the observation image by joining images, the microscope system which is designed so that the operation of pasting images by a plurality of speculum methods is shortened, prevention of color fading and capture of high-quality images can be achieved, even in the imaging, in particular, of fluorescent observation images. <P>SOLUTION: The virtual slide forming apparatus forms virtual slide by pasting a plurality of observation images photographed by imaging an observation body observed through a microscope. The apparatus includes an image-pasting information calculating means for calculating image-pasting information about areas that overlap between the observation images for pasting them, from among a plurality of observation images imaged by a first observation method; and an image-pasting means, by which the areas of the plurality of images imaged by a second observation method are joined, based on the image-pasting information calculated by the image-pasting information calculating means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
