PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object display device designed for reduction in a sense of incongruity caused by displayed marking, reduction in influence of object shield by marking, and reduction in costs of the device, while suppressing deterioration in the quality of images. SOLUTION: The display device which displays a plurality of original images one after another temporarily displays a marking image for improving viewability of an object in the plurality of original images, performs marking display using the after-image effect and the Broca-Sulzer effect, and makes superimposing unnecessary. As marking looks transparent for a person who visually recognizes the display, shielding of the object by marking is removed, information which has been shielded before can be conveyed without missing, and a sense of incongruity of displayed marking can be reduced. Also A/D conversion or D/A conversion is not required and deterioration in the quality of images is reduced.
