PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve acoustic characteristic of a speaker with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The speaker unit comprises: a driver unit 2 having a cone-type diaphragm 11; a sound emitting part 53 comprising a flange-like equalizer 21 which is installed at a position facing to a peripheral part in the cone-type diaphragm 11, and prevents a sound generated from the cone-type diaphragm 11 from being derived, and a horn 57 which is arranged facing to a position in the vicinity of a center side of the cone-type diaphragm 11, and derives the sound generated from the cone-type diaphragm 11 to the outside; and a peripheral part sound releasing through-hole 62 provided in the flange-like equalizer 21 so as to release a part of the sound generated from the cone-type diaphragm 11 to the outside of the horn 57.
