PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna of which the length can be easily adjusted, and electronic equipment. SOLUTION: A multi-stage antenna 5 includes an antenna case 52, rods 53 and 54 contained in the antenna case 52, and an antenna top 55 attached to the front end of the rod 54, wherein the antenna case 52 has an almost prismatic shape, the cross-section of which is almost polygonal, the antenna top 55 has an almost prismatic shape, the cross-section of which is almost polygonal while matched with the antenna case 52, and surfaces 5225 and 551 where the antenna case 52 and the antenna top 55 are opposite to each other are abutting surfaces which are abutted on each other when the rods 53 and 54 are stored in the antenna case. Consequently, designability can be improved because the antenna case 52 and the antenna top 55 are easily made holdable, an antenna length can be easily adjusted and they can be seen as one prismatic body.
