PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pop noise reduction circuit which reduces pop noise by a simple configuration and control method. SOLUTION: A pop noise reduction circuit 100 includes a comparator 130 for comparing a voltage level of an output voltage Vbi of a reference bias voltage generation circuit 120 with that of an output voltage Vsh of a sample/hold circuit 140 to output the comparison result as a reference bias voltage Vref of a signal amplifier circuit 110 and the sample/hold circuit 140 for sampling an output signal Vout of the signal amplifier circuit 110. The sample/hold circuit 140 samples the output signal Vout of the signal amplifier circuit 110 and holds an output voltage Va or Vb, and the comparator 130 operates as a maximum value side selection circuit in response to transition from a stop operation mode to a restart operation mode of the signal amplifier circuit 110 and as a minimum value side selection circuit in response to transition from the restart operation mode to a re-stop operation mode.
