PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic matching member of which breakage such as cracking, chipping, peeling, etc. is hardly caused, and a failure is hardly caused, an ultrasonic transmitter receiver and an ultrasonic flowmeter. SOLUTION: The acoustic matching member 15 has a piezoelectric oscillator 11 and is incorporated in an ultrasonic transmitter receiver which transmits or receives an ultrasonic wave. The acoustic matching member 15 has a retainer 2 and dry gel 3 with a smaller hole diameter than the retainer formed at a hole portion 4 of the retainer, thereby the dry gel 3 is retained by the retainer 2, so as to improve resistance to strain in a drying stage for gel or during a heat shock test.
