PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microstrip line-waveguide converter which is compact and superior in mass-productivity. SOLUTION: The microstrip line-waveguide converter has a dielectric substrate (21) connected to a waveguide (3), dielectric substrates (22 and 23) to be layered on the dielectric substrate (21), and a microstrip line (4) to be formed between the dielectric substrate (21) and dielectric substrate (22), wherein dielectric filled waveguides (6a, 6b, and 6c) are formed of the dielectric substrate (21) and dielectric substrates (22 and 23), namely, a back short is formed of the dielectric filled waveguides (6a, 6b, and 6c).
